Marko Pavlinjek finished his studies in civil engineering in 2001 at the University of Ljubljana. He started his career at Elea iC as a student with the static calculation of building constructions and specialized in dimensioning different constructions, mostly concrete and steel. He is an expert in high-rise buildings, seismic engineering, and dimensioning of steel constructions.

Marko Pavlinjek is a partner of Elea iC and head of the team for Buildings and structures. He works as a leading expert engineer on several projects, including the business and residential complex Emonika City Center, the Retail Complex Stožice, the hotel InterContinental, Petrol Gasoline services, and several others.

Marko Pavlinjek is an active member of the Slovenian Chamber of Engineers as a juror of the Disciplinary Senate and occasionally lectures as a guest speaker on structural design at the University of Ljubljana.
