Third development axis North – between Šentrupert junction of the A1 Šentilj – Koper highway and the Velenje South junction (section 1)
The Third Axis of Development project envisions a new national road link between Velenje South junction and Šentrupert junction (A1 highway). A four-lane road with junctions, connection roads, and other related infrastructure will define the link.
We have prepared technical and construction solutions for the planned design, including drainage solutions for deviations, new safety barriers, and traffic signage.
We used an interdisciplinary approach for planning the Velenje junction to ensure a pleasant experience for all road users, especially cyclists and pedestrians. Following the expressway’s completion, new parking lots will be implemented near Velenje Cemetery.
