Renovation of an old secession mansion with three residential entities and a basement. The investor wanted to merge all four storeys into one residential entity and to make a connection of the residential part with the garden. The former semi-circular apsis was replaced by a new annexe along all storeys that allowed connection with the exterior in each residential storey. Through an open landing and a staircase, the ground floor is connected with the terrain, each of the remaining two storeys got a balcony. The mansion has maintained its outer dimensions and architectural elements. New structures, the annexe, the garage and partly the railings have been executed in other more modern shapes and materials.
The renewed building is a blend of the old and the modern with new elements and interior furniture that are a functional upgrade of the existing burgher substance.
