The Wellness Hotel Sotelia is part of the Olimia spa and is a four-star hotel. It is located in direct vicinity of forests. Its lively façade structure, green roofs and huge bright surfaces give an impression of harmonious connection with the surrounding nature. The hotel features 145 rooms, four apartments and six suites and also kitchen, dining room, restaurant, lounge, congress centre and garage.
The hotel building was designed as a four-storey (ground floor + 3) reinforced-concrete construction. The building is very lively designed both horizontally and vertically. A lively ground plan of sizes 120.0 x 55.0 m leans against an unequal slope, which made the foundation works for the building extremely demanding. The building is founded partly on strip footings, partly on wells, while a predominant part of the building is founded on benotto piles having a depth of 5-15 m. The erection was even more demanding due to slantwise slabs between the storeys and slantwise façade walls. The total gross surface area of the building is approx 13,000.00 m².
