Parmova Residence is a six-apartment block with approximately 70 apartments along Parmova Street in Ljubljana.
The buildings consist of five square towers, featuring a floor plan of P+3N+T, along with a rectangular tower with a floor plan of P+2N. Rising above an underground garage, these structures boast an irregular floor plan shape with a broken longitudinal axis, interconnected by lush green areas, low-growing trees, and a walkway.
The foundation of each building is based on a shallow concrete slab. The slab above the basement is reinforced with upturned slats, creating a visually flat ceiling appearance above the garage. Moreover, the basement also serves as a shelter.
The vertical support system of the buildings primarily comprises reinforced concrete columns, ensuring stability both internally and externally. Adjacent to the towers, communication cores extend from the basement to the top of each tower.
To enhance durability and prevent water infiltration into the buildings, the entire structure in contact with the ground was meticulously designed as a white tub. This design approach prioritized crack control in the concrete and the implementation of details that effectively inhibit water penetration.
