The client, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, procured a building land provided with public-service infrastructure in the urban district of the capital city of Ljubljana. We were entrusted with the preparation of a project for a magnificent ceremonial and residential building for the needs of the ambassador of the kingdom to Slovenia. Apart from the project, the task included management of proceedings to obtain a building permit, selection of a main contractor, supervision over construction, and financial management of the project – everything as a turnkey system.
The modern design of the building is a sophisticated combination of visible concrete, glass and steel with a wooden façade from Siberian cedar. The building blends with the green urban environment near Koseze pond.
