National Cycling Route Dobrna – Velenje – Mozirje

We have been planning the construction of a new national cycle link along the Dobrna-Velenje-Mozirje route, which will span over 32 kilometers.

During the conceptual stages of the project, we prepared a conceptual design of several possible routes, taking into account the regional development orientations, the client’s wishes, the terrain, and spatial as well as other characteristics of the area, from which the final solution was later selected. Following that, a conceptual design for the entire length of the projected route was created.

We also produced four sub-phases of the intended National bike Route, totaling a little over 14 km, from which the new construction, primarily designed as a bike path, covers around 4 km.
The remaining length of the cycle path is scheduled to be routed along existing less trafficked roads with the traffic equipment and signaling as part of the new cycle path. Along the course of the new structure, several support and bracing measures, four-cycle footbridges, flood mitigation measures, and the rebuilding of an existing underpass were also proposed.
