Near the city center of the capital Ljubljana, a modern Islamic Religious Cultural Centre was built for the needs of the Islamic Community in the Republic of Slovenia. App. 12,000 m² includes a mosque with ritual ablutions and a minaret, educational building, office building, residential building, underground garage, restaurant, and sports hall.
The execution of the construction which consisted of white concretes, steel, and glass with numerous one-of-a-kind details was very demanding and a great challenge for the contractor. It was also an extremely challenging task for the supervision and engineering teams, who, in the end, carried out the construction smoothly and accurately up to the hand-over of keys. The teams were in charge of all administrative proceedings relating to obtaining an operating permit, all in regular communication, about the ongoing works and consumption of funds to the donator from Qatar.
