The new Lah Contemporary art museum is currently under construction on the estate of the former castle farm right below Bled Castle.
Around 2500 m² of indoor and 500 m²of outdoor exhibition areas will feature contemporary works of several international artists and a vast collection of artwork by the Slovenian modernist Zoran Mušič, all carefully selected by collectors Mojca and Igor Lah. The arrangement of the square, the museum garden with sculptures, and the structure of the Grajska Road will be adapted.
We designed the project in close collaboration with architecture authors David Chipperfield Architects and their UK expert collaborators.
We implemented BIM technology in our architecture and building construction models, mechanical and electrical installations, and communal arrangements.
The architects have shown excellent technological skills and came up with innovative ideas to create a building with clean architectural details on steep and diverse terrain while considering a particular climate, lighting, and acoustics on the estate of the former castle farm right below Castle Bled.
