The new building is a multi-storey business premises with four buried and seven above-ground storeys. The horizontal building size is 68 x 34 m. The height of the building above the benchmark of the location is 26.6 m, the depth of the paving in the bottom basement is -12.0 m. The carrying construction is from reinforced concrete, the top storey consists of steel and is partly recessed into the interior of the building size of lower storeys. The layout was designed to cope with a strong earthquake activity of the neighbourhood. A mixed system was selected, where the earthquake resistance of the building was ensured by walls made from reinforced concrete in combination with reinforced-concrete columns longitudinally connected with beams. Reinforced-concrete slabs transfer loads to vertical elements. The building has two vertical reinforced-concrete cores. Both cores are located approximately in the centre of ground plan of the building. The building has a shallow foundation on pad footings and strip footings. The base of the footings lies at -14.10 m. The construction pit was excavated by using a multiple-anchor pilot wall in compliance with Jet-grouting. The total net surface of the entire building amounts to 14.350 m², of that 8.002 m² of above-ground storeys (business part) and 6.348 m² of basement storeys (parking places).
