The new Emonika business and commercial building, with its 200,000 m2 of surface area and exciting architecture, is designed as a center that offers living (apartment and hotel), work, entertainment, leisure, and shopping. The basic dimensions of the building are dictated by the construction plan, which foresees several elegant vertical elements, such as a 100 m high office tower, which will also be the new tallest building in Ljubljana, and a 40 m high block with a lower structure in the background.
Emonika is perfectly connected to the surrounding area, as it is located in the very bustle of the city, right next to the Ljubljana main bus and train station. The design of the interior spaces tries to reflect the inspiration of the unique characteristics of Ljubljana’s historic buildings and public spaces, so all areas are designed to be fully accessible and with comfort, functionality, and adaptability in mind. The hotel, with more than 150 rooms and a lush garden above the city, promises a unique and hospitable stay experience.
Emonika’s ambition is to obtain the BREEAM certificate, which confirms that the project is environmentally sustainable and thoughtful. Construction has started in 2023.
