The business and administrative building not only offers basic supplies to the inhabitants but also meets their needs for culture, sports and recreation, education and social organisation. Various programmes are available in different storeys: the basement provides 85 parking places, a place for a diesel generator set, and a place for waste. The ground floor offers a convenience store and a hall for accessing the first floor, the first floor comprises library, event hall, recreational hall, music school, youth centre, quarter’s community office, and adequate toilets. Adjacent to the building there are 30 more parking places and 11 stands for a total of 66 bikes. The building further has two panoramic lifts used to overcome vertical obstacles. External arrangement includes ramps which are used to overcome obstacles in a slight inclination.
The building is founded on a reinforced-concrete foundation plate, the basement storey is a reinforced-concrete construction consisting of columns and walls which support the reinforced-concrete plate. The above-ground portion of the building is a steel construction/steel frames in both directions with composite ceilings. The suspended façade TRIMO – Qubis is a combination of façade thermal insulation plates and glass.
