The connection ramps of the Šentvid tunnel exit into the urban settlement along Celovška street require unique solutions due to its complexity and sensitivity. Urban park elevated between underlying motorway tunnel pipe and the overpasses from the connecting lines, which are located above the areas intended for socializing and at the same time for the transport of cyclists and pedestrians. Above the open space, four elegant bridging structures are mounted transversely to the axis of the passage.
The buildings bridging the park are 18.7 m and 23.5 m long. The static design of the load-bearing structure is an integral AB frame with a clear opening of 1 x 18.17 m. The upper form is a flat girder with a single intrados with a peak height of 0.55 m in the field and 1.10 m above the support. End supports are wall constructions that connect to the support walls along the bike path. The struts are 60.02 ° offset from the road axis and follow the axis of the cycle path. The shape follows shape-retaining walls building so that the visible slope surface is 4: 1.
One of the buildings is based on the AB frame construction of the covered Šentvid excavation at the point of entry into the mountainous part of the tunnel. In terms of height, it is a three-level crossing of the Šentvid – Koseze AC section.
