Rekonstrukcija avtoceste in objektov na odseku Šentrupert-Vransko
A3 Gabrk – Fernetiči is an 11,3 km long highway that starts at a junction in Gabrk and ends at the border with Italy. We designed 18,2 km of road reconstruction on several sections of the highway.
Considering the non-homogeneous state of the carriageway, we have prepared solutions for resurfacing with an additional wear layer, resurfacing with a thin-layer coating, and partial replacement of the carriageway structure.
We have preserved the existing safety barriers to a large extent. In more dangerous sections, safety has been improved by installing steel guardrails and concrete barriers with an appropriate level of containment. After reviewing the existing signalization, we planned to replace inadequate vertical traffic signs and install new horizontal signalization on the renovated sections.
At the border of Fernetiči, we prepared solutions for the partial rearrangement of a plateau which includes the rearrangement of the highway route, the relocation of steel guardrails and concrete barriers, and the arrangement of the area for the sale of vignettes.
