Biotechnological Hub of the National Institute of Biology

The aim of the investment was to build a new high-quality research infrastructure that would improve research capacity, safety, and the standard of laboratory work in the national and international environment as well as strengthen research support to the economy.

The project, co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund and the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport under the Operational Programme for the Implementation of the European Cohesion Policy 2014-2020, consisted of the demolition of the existing entrance building and the construction of a new building of story P + 1 + a technical story, with a greenhouse and a beehive.

The new building has floor dimensions of 23,5 m x 152,8 m and a net surface area of 6 646 m2.
Our contractual obligation was to carry out the supervision of the civil works and installations, BIM, and technologies, including the maintenance of the Dalux common platform for the exchange of documents and information.
