TRAC’s business and production facility, COC, or Centre of Creativity, is located in \u0160entjernej and is designed as a versatile space that, in addition to its business activities, also offers space for sports societies and a restaurant.<\/p>\n
The structure of the three-story building with a rectangular floor plan consists of a monolithic concrete basement, above which the entire load-bearing structure is made of timber. Around the perimeter of the building is a timber lattice, which, in addition to its load-bearing function, works very well with the aesthetics and gives the building a distinctive appearance. The floor sandwich is made of CLT slabs, which are additionally supported by beams and columns at the larger spans. Structure’s core is made of CLT walls. <\/p>\n
By using wood as a primary structural material, the construction embodies a sustainable approach, promoting environmentally friendly building practices.
