The natural scenery is permanently present in the library, excess daily light is limited by horizontal shades on the façade.
The interior is significantly distinguished by carrier diagonal columns which were a special challenge in designing the equipment. We decided to somewhat deprive them of their too strong character and “incorporated” them into the furniture.
The Zalog Library is not just a library, it is a place for social encounters, games and spending free time. It houses a permanent collection of minerals, the gallery wall is frequently packed with artistic works.
Age sections are separated by colours: youth is green, adults are blue, children are yellow suns. The furniture is covered in maple veneer that somewhat softens the grey and durable epoxy pavement. We are pleasantly surprised over corners for socializing – rounded padded benches with high back rests and a “cloud of ideas” hanging from the ceiling. All in the colour of the section, to which the corner belongs.
The playroom for children can easily transform into a lecture room or even a small concert hall. We just need to draw the curtain.

[93
post-59999","portfolio","type-portfolio","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","portfolio_category-architecture-portfolio
["GET
