The creation of 5D models enables the various participants of a construction project to visualize the progress of construction activities and its related costs over time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>6D Modelling<\/strong><br \/>\nThe &#8220;As-Built&#8221; BIM model is populated with relevant information to support management and maintenance of construction. Individual components are assigned information about the integrated equipment, maintenance manuals, warranty etc. A BIM 6D model can be used as a source of information of an existing or future CAFM (Computer aided facility management) systems.
