Jurij Rihar finished his studies of civil engineering in 1987 in the field of concrete prefabricated constructions at the University of Ljubljana. He started his career with the static calculation and structural design of high-rise buildings, after dedicating himself to estimations of building investment values and economics of construction. He joined Elea iC in 2002 as coordinator and project manager. Today he is a partner of the company and head of team Project management and Supervision. He was involved in projects in Shopping center Aleja, Ljubljana, Islamic Religious Cultural Center, Ljubljana, Office Building EHO, and others.

Marko Pavlinjek finished his studies in civil engineering in 2001 at the University of Ljubljana. He started his career at Elea iC as a student with the static calculation of building constructions and specialized in dimensioning different constructions, mostly concrete and steel. He is an expert in high-rise buildings, seismic engineering, and dimensioning of steel constructions.

Marko Pavlinjek is a partner of Elea iC and head of the team for Buildings and structures. He works as a leading expert engineer on several projects, including the business and residential complex Emonika City Center, the Retail Complex Stožice, the hotel InterContinental, Petrol Gasoline services, and several others.

Marko Pavlinjek is an active member of the Slovenian Chamber of Engineers as a juror of the Disciplinary Senate and occasionally lectures as a guest speaker on structural design at the University of Ljubljana.

He completed the study of civil engineering at the Faculty of Civil engineering in 2000. His professional career began as a structural engineer in building construction company Gradis, design bureau in particular in the field of concrete and steel structures, bridges and other infrastructure facilities at home and abroad.

In 2002 he joined the team Elea iC, where he worked as lead designer in civil works and in 2004 received the award for best steel construction in Slovenia, and the award of the European Convention for steel structures – ECCS. A year later he took over the development and management of tunnels department, which was upgraded in the coming years with a team of geologists, he himself specialized in the field of safety in tunnels.

Currently he is working and is a partner in the company Elea iC as head of the group of tunnels and soil mechanics, and as the designer responsible for a number of demanding projects at home and abroad, such as: tunnels Šentvid, Markovec, Vodole, Leščevje, Karavanke (all in Slovenia), Suhodol I and II (Bosnia), Encarnacao (Portugal) .etc.

He has received numerous awards for his achievements and is a member of several professional institutions (IZS, ITA, SloGeD, OEGG ….) and regularly attends professional conferences, where he teaches the construction and design of tunnels and other underground structures and tunnel safety.

Andrej Pogačnik finished his studies in civil engineering in 1988 at the University of Ljubljana. He started his career as a designer with the static calculation and structural design of buildings in Slovenia.

In 1991 he co-founded the Elea iC, offering the design of all structures and other civil engineering services, where he is a manager and member of the board of directors. During his 22 years as a structural engineer, Andrej Pogačnik has won several design awards in various categories. He received the award for the “Best steel structure in Slovenia” in 2001. In 2007 he received the “Slovenian Chamber of Engineers Award for outstanding engineering achievements”.

Andrej Pogačnik is the president of the parent section of Civil Engineers of the Slovenian Chamber of Engineers and the initiator and editor of the Slovenian EUROCODE Standard Design of Building Constructions handbook (IZS 2009).

In 1991 he co-founded the company Elea, offering the design of all structures and other civil engineering services. During his career as a structural engineer, he won several design awards in various categories. The prize for the “Best steel structure in Slovenia” he received twice. In 2009 he received the “Slovenian Chamber of Engineers Award for outstanding engineering achievements”.
