The project was designed in two phases. The first phase dealt with the renovation of two floors on the western wing on the northern part of monastery, mainly the ground floor part and an unused attic.
On the ground floor is a cultural center, which is of public character. It consists of four exhibition spaces, which are oriented on Plečnikov trg, connecting arcade corridor turned and glass closed onto the internal courtyard, as well as the extension of the arcades as a direct connection with the Slovenska street.
Internal convent library is located in the unused attic. The wooden roof was replaced with a new steel / wood construction. The library is designed as an integrated space open to the ridge. To the south and internal atrium, which is surrounded by the Ursuline church opens to the great terasse.
The second phase consists of reconstruction and partial chaneg of use of the western tract of the northern wing and the northern part of the main convent building in Ljubljana, which is placed in the city center.
The project included a comprehensive renovation and sanitation of the building as well as facilitating access for people with disabilities to all parts of the convent. The renovated public spaces include a student dormitory, kindergarden for two first age groups with a gym hall, an increase in capacity of the existing cultural center, offices for the administration of the monastery with archives.
The other rooms are designed to address internal need of Ursuline Sisters.
